After I completed a degree in Fine Art (Nottingham Trent, 1999-2002) where I specialised in video installations I moved into film.

In 2004 I made my directing debut with 'To his knees he fell' which was commissioned through the UK Film Council’s ‘Digital Shorts Scheme’. It screened at numerous international film festivals and was short-listed for the ‘Fortean Times Award’ at the London Short Film Festival in 2006.

In 2008 I collaborated with sonic artist Alison Ballard to make my experimental animation 'Wires and Bows', which screened at over 30 international film festivals and was nominated four times for various experiemental film awards.

At the end of 2009 I completed my 2nd UK Film Council commissioned short film through Screen East entitled 'Things We Leave Behind'. This is presently doing the rounds on the festival circuit and has to date recieve 2 nominations for 'Best UK and International Short' and a nomination for 'Best Cinematography' at GrandOFF World Off Film Awards in Warsaw, Poland

Most recently I have completed my 3rd UK Film Council commissioned short film 'Where There's Smoke' which is currently doing the rounds on the festival circuit. It had it's World Premiere at the prestigious Palm Springs International Shortfest, USA and recently won the 'Best Cinematography' award at the Montecatina International Film & Video Festival.

I am also presently in development of my debut feature film.
